Augusta Chiropractor : Dr. Richard N. Southiere
Injury of Baseball Teammate in College Introduced Me to Chiropractic
I was playing baseball in college. Our best pitcher (Ron) got injured in a collision on the base path. He went from doctor to doctor, specialist to specialist. He was not improving and unable to play. One of our assistant coaches suggested that he go to his doctor, a Chiropractor.
Honestly, I really wasn’t sure what a chiropractor was or what they did. After two visits Ron was back playing. I went with Ron to a couple of his office visits and talked to his doctor. I was very interested. Being the analytical individual that I am I started reading (no Internet) back then, and became extremely interested and impressed with what chiropractic could do naturally. I changed paths slightly and have been humbled and amazed and the results patients get from chiropractic.

Our Practice Philosophy Here at Southiere Chiropractic Associates Is Simple
To provide the best care we can for our patients.
We do what we do very, very well. Our approach to care is aggressive yet conservative. We have many treatment options and plans that we can utilize on patients. However, we also realize that we may not be the answer for everybody. We refer to other specialists (and get referrals) on a regular basis. Sometimes drugs and surgeries are absolutely the best treatment options for certain conditions. If we think we can help a patient, we will tell them. If we don’t think we can help them, we will tell them that too!
